Runs Stockwell and Orderly’s stock and sales data location by location — so a business with more than one storefront or warehouse sees each branch’s numbers separately, and can move stock between them.
The Challenge
Problem
Once a business opens a second location, “what’s our stock level” stops having one answer. Owners either blend everything into one number — hiding which branch is struggling — or keep separate spreadsheets that never reconcile.
That approach breaks down in predictable ways:
- Combined totals hide which branch is actually profitable
- Moving stock between locations happens off-book, so counts drift
- No per-branch P&L — just one blended number for the whole business
The Solution
Approach
Every order and stock record in the suite is already tagged to a branch; Atlas surfaces that side by side instead of blended, and adds a formal stock-transfer flow between locations.
The solution included:
- Branch comparison table — stock units, orders, and sales total, side by side
- Per-branch detail page with its own revenue, cost of goods, and gross profit
- Stock transfer between branches, with an optional "request only" approval step
- New branches get their own document prefix, so invoice numbers stay branch-distinct
